Gettin' burgers from Brook's, NoDaaaa!

Charlotte, NC
Noda

Hello again, fellow foodies!  This week me and the gang got to meet up and grab a quick bite to eat as I was passing though the city.  In the mood for some delicious but cheap eats, we ended up going to Brook's Sandwich House.

As you can see, they have the best burgers in Charlotte. :)  Take a look at that
line out the door!  You know if there are that many people waiting inside and outside of the place, there has got to be something really good cooking.

Their menu is short but sweet.  Just enough of everything you need in a burger sandwich place.  They even have breakfast!! Who doesn't love breakfast?

Petchi and I got burgers "all the way" which meant it was smothered in mustard, onion and CHILI.  Petchi skipped the onions though because he doesn't like onions and how they stinky up your breath. :)
The chili oozes out of every opening it can find but you have to hurry and catch it before it falls- it is deliciously flavored - a nice peppery kick-  and tender meat that you don't want to waste!  The burger is also quite tasty and very well seasoned.  I usually like all the veggies in my burger but I didn't miss them at all with all the flavor that this one had!  Soft, fresh buns, and a thick meat patty with even more meat piled on top. Mmmm, so good.

Markus got the burger with cheese, "all the way."  The same mouthwatering burger as mine, plus a delightfully large slice of American.  He thought it was delicious (Though the burger is great without the cheese too!  And this is coming from a great cheese lover!)

We also shared an order of fries; I think they are seasoned with some kind of Cajun seasoning.  Nothing special, but they hit the spot and really complete the meal.

Brook's is a must visit if you are in the area.  The is really inexpensive, tasty, and quite filling.  Be prepared to wait a bit for your turn to order, but it's worth every minute!  Cash only, outside standing only picnic tables for a friendly meet and greet style lunch.  The only downside to the place?  They are only open weekdays from 7am to 3pm.  What I wouldn't give to get some fresh Brook's for dinner...

So, How Nuts Are We about Brook's Sandwich House?

Food: 5 coconuts. Good portions, quality, and flavors- for cheap!
Service: 5 coconuts. Good, fast, friendly service.
Repeatability: 5 coconuts. Hands down.

Until next time...     (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
