Pies at Pie and Off to South Korea

Hello fellow foodies!

Markus and I are setting off onto another epic adventure.  This time we are headed to South Korea! We will be documenting every bite so make sure you stop by to see what we discover.

Wish us luck!

Here are a few photos of our trip to pie!  Pie is a pie shop in Seattle (Fremont) that serves up sweet and savory pies.  We had already had a hefty lunch at a nearby deli so we wanted some sweets to end the meal.

We decided to sample the salted apple pie and the pecan pie.

The pies were about the size of a large slice of pie.  Definitely big enough to share.  It has a lot of crust compared to filling.  I'm more of a filling person myself, but I know some people prefer crust so this is for you.  The crust was flaky and buttery and crumbled as you cut into the pie.  This was a great dessert after a simple lunch.

The pies were tasty and next time I'm in Seattle, I will try to find this place again and have a savory pie and really get a good taste of what they have to offer.

The Pakistani-Indian-Middle Eastern Aashiana Restaurant in Albany, NY

Albany. NY

Hiya stuffies!  It's me Markus!

Have you ever wanted to try a new type of food, but didn't know where to start?  I can tell you I've been there.  I've looked at a menu and thought..."well that's really all Greek to me."  What am I saying... I can read Greek...Greek menu that is :)  But it does it take a little while to get fluent in a new menu language.   I find the easiest way to explore a menu is to try a buffet.  That way you can take a look at what you are eating before you have to commit to eating it!

In this adventure, I take you on a journey to a Pakistani-Indian-Middle Eastern lunch buffet in Albany, NY.
